Overview
FWI is building a team to deliver STEM outreach support services for the Air Force Research Laboratory's (AFRL) Next-Gen Outreach Office at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. As the STEM Outreach Specialist, you will support the full breadth of the Next-Gen Outreach Office's programs — developing curriculum, creating STEM content, troubleshooting equipment, filming videos, and helping ensure every initiative aligns with national STEM standards and AFRL's mission.

**Position is contingent upon contract award**
Work Schedule and Location:
On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm at Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with project managers to create, develop, and update classroom presentations aligned with STEM outreach priorities
- Troubleshoot educational equipment; assemble and maintain STEM outreach materials used for projects and events
- Create and film educational STEM videos to enhance social media presence
- Write high school STEM curriculum and coordinate activities, videos, social media, photos, and marketing
- Align all curriculum and content with National Math & Science Standards and AFRL critical technologies
- Research cutting-edge STEM experiences and technology to enhance program offerings
- Support evenings, weekends, and/or holiday events as required by the office schedule
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant specialized field OR minimum 5 years of functional area experience
- Experience with tech devices, STEM equipment, and educational tools
- Ability to write high school-level STEM curriculum aligned with national standards
- Experience with video production and social media content creation preferred
