Seeking a Project Manager in the fire restoration industry to lead insurance-driven rebuild projects across Connecticut. This role oversees high-value residential fire and damage restoration projects, combining hands-on construction leadership with financial management in an insurance-regulated environment.

What You'll Do as the Project Manager:

• Manage residential restoration projects from initial scope through completion
• Oversee subcontractors, trades, schedules, and daily job site activity
• Track budgets and ensure projects stay aligned with approved estimates
• Work within insurance pricing structures to maintain profitability
• Use Xactimate to review estimates, costs, and change orders
• Communicate with homeowners and provide consistent project updates
• Coordinate materials, timelines, and project milestones

Must-Haves as the Project Manager:

• Experience managing residential construction or restoration projects
• Strong working knowledge of Xactimate
• Understanding of insurance-driven project pricing and limitations
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Nice-to-Haves as the Project Manager:

• Background in fire, water, or insurance restoration
• Experience working directly with adjusters or insurance carriers
• Field experience in carpentry or construction trades
• Established subcontractor relationships
