POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Sales Manager – Brazil is responsible for product sales within assigned territory. Duties include an evaluation of the distribution performance of Tampico’s licensees in Brazil in various trade channels. This position evaluates and oversees associated marketing and trade plans to sustain the brand and licensee volumes. Responsibilities also include intensive follow ups with Tampico licensees to manage licensee activities and execution in the marketplace. The Regional Sales Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that the annual budgeted volume is achieved in the assigned territories and maintaining a successful relationship with Tampico’s licensees. This position reports to the General Manager in Brazil.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop, execute and follow up with sales and distribution plans customized for each licensee within the assigned territories, for all channels.
  • Identify marketing initiatives that align with the assigned licensees’ sales and distribution requirements and support execution to leverage the company’s brand while managing budgeted marketing funds.
  • Perform market visits and conduct research of competitors, while evaluating potential market opportunities, and findings in market reports, to make adjustments as necessary.
  • Oversee and provide guidance to third party licensee sales team that focus on selling and distributing Tampico product.
  • Communicate regularly with Tampico’s sales and management team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in retail or B2B sales ;food/beverage industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, and/or Marketing. 
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills 
  • Written and verbal fluency in Portuguese/English required.
  • Analytical skills in strategic and sales planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results, to successfully interact and influence.
  • Broad understanding and ability to interpret syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen data).
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time.
  • Must reside in Sao Paulo, Brazil
