Summary: Blood Cancer United is seeking a Full-Time Spanish/English Bilingual Oncology Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition education and support to cancer patients and caregivers through telephonic and email consultations. This role is integral to our Nutrition Education Services Center and focuses on evidence-based nutritional guidance for individuals affected by all types of cancer.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver individualized nutrition education and symptom management strategies for cancer patients and survivors.
  • Document services accurately, ensuring timely data entry and appropriate follow-up.
  • Create and present educational sessions for internal staff and external audiences.
  • Develop nutrition-related content for blogs, literature, and social media.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cancer nutrition through journals and reliable sources.
  • Represent Blood Cancer United at community events and conferences.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and multidisciplinary team to coordinate assignments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Dietitian with active registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • State licensure or certification as applicable.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in oncology nutrition counseling or clinical dietetics.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); database experience preferred. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Certified Specialist in Oncology (CSO) or willingness to obtain within 2 years.
  • Experience with Salesforce.

We are excited to share the base pay range for this position is $70,000 to $73,000. The offered compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Blood Cancer United we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the current compensation of similarly situated roles and direct team members. Base compensation is only one component of our Total Rewards program, which also includes an annual incentive plan and a competitive benefits package.
