Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the constant feeding of the dryer by operating the filter press, and all its associated equipment in production operations in the dry yeast department. This position reports directly to the Supervisor, Dry Yeast Department. May also receive work direction or assignments from Drying Department Superintendent. This position will be responsible for ensuring a quality, consistent product, which meets the needs of the customer, is consistently produced. Will also have responsibility for training, safety, and SOP compliance. This position requires employees to work a rotating 2-2-3 shift schedule in 12-hour blocks. It will rotate from Days to nights on a monthly basis.
