Back to jobsYou will be responsible for the development of BAW and SAW filtering components used in state-of-the-art wireless RF applications.
You will assist technical marketing, or project leads in defining new products through feasibility studies and technical competitive analyses.
You will design microwave acoustic devices using a variety of design techniques, including conventional bandpass filters, ladder filters, notch filters, CRF filters, acoustic-assisted filters, etc. It involves the knowledge of circuit simulation, front end radio architecture, communication systems, RF characterization, micro-electronics technology, and fabrication processes.
You will perform acoustic and electromagnetic (EM) simulations using a combination of commercially available tools as well as Qorvo’s state-of-the-art internally developed tools and provide final device layout to support photomask set creation.
You will interact with BAW and SAW process engineers and R&D team, using knowledge of fabrication process variations and capabilities.
You will work with characterization team and test engineers to fully evaluate and diagnostic your device using the latest in RF/Microwave test equipment.
You will support relevant documentation of product and design information to educate others on novel design techniques or provide guidance on product usage and will work with test, application and product engineering teams to transfer new product to production.
You will contribute to the continuous improvement of design flow, method and cycle time.
