Overview: We are actively seeking a versatile and dynamic professional to fill the role of Network Project Manager. This pivotal position is responsible for leading, managing, and delivering customer network projects from initiation to completion. This role responds to customer Requests for Proposals (RFPs), manages and maintains network facilities, and oversees end‑to‑end project delivery. The Network Project Manager must possess foundational telecommunication and network knowledge, strong customer‑facing experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders. The role also ensures project timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met while maintaining high service quality.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & RFP Response
- Review, understand, and respond to customer RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, ensuring technical and project requirements are accurately reflected.
- Collaborate with Design, Construction, external partners and commercial teams to prepare proposals, solution designs, and project scopes.
- Participate in pre‑sales discussions, customer workshops, and solution clarification sessions.
2. Network Facilities Management
- Oversee the maintenance, capacity planning, and operational readiness of network facilities within data campuses.
- Coordinate with vendor and contractors to ensure infrastructure availability and resolve potential issues early.
- Ensure documentation of network layouts, asset inventory, and facility configurations is accurate and up to date.
3. Project Leadership & Delivery Management
- Lead end‑to‑end project planning including scope definition, requirements gathering, and project kick off.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and delivery timelines; track progress and ensure completion within committed timeframes.
- Drive internal and external teams (Design, Construction, operations, contractors, external partners) to meet project goals.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and constraints; initiate timely escalations to senior management when project delivery is at risk.
- Ensure all project changes are managed through proper change‑control processes.
4. Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate site survey, inspection and cross‑functional communication among Construction, operations, contractor, external partners and customers.
- Conduct regular project update meetings with stakeholders and prepare status reports.
5. Testing, Commissioning & Acceptance
- Plan and coordinate testing and commissioning activities for network services and infrastructure.
- Ensure proper test documentation, test plans, and acceptance test procedures are created and approved.
- Produce and deliver testing and commissioning reports to customers. Drive resolution of test issues and ensure completion of acceptance milestones.
6. Project Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, progress trackers, risk logs, and action registers.
- Provide weekly or monthly progress reports to internal leadership and customers.
- Maintain milestone tracking dashboards for internal management reporting.
7. Governance, Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with internal project governance frameworks, standards, security requirements, and operational processes.
- Perform quality checks at each project milestone and ensure adherence to SLAs.
- Support audits or internal reviews related to project execution or network facilities.
8. Financial & Resource Management (Standard PM Responsibilities)
- Prepare project budget estimates and track actual expenditures against forecasts.
- Manage procurement activities, including vendor quotes, purchase requisitions, and contract oversight.
- Ensure efficient allocation of internal/external resources and manage workload distribution.
9. Continuous Improvement
- Identify process gaps and opportunities to improve project methodology, workflow, and project tools.
- Capture lessons learned and lead post‑project reviews.
- Provide recommendations to enhance delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in telecommunications Project management and familiar with network rollout, site readiness, testing and commissioning procedures.
- Strong command of project planning, scheduling and risk management.
- Competency with project documentation and reporting tools. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proactive, organized, and able to work under pressure with tight timelines
