POSITION PROFILE
A hotel internship offers hands-on experience across departments like Front Office, Housekeeping, or Food & Beverage, focusing on guest services, operational support, and problem-solving. Interns typically assist with guest check-ins, manage inquiries, support event planning, and learn hotel management systems, providing a foundation for a hospitality career.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES
- Front Office/Guest Services: Greet guests, handle check-ins/check-outs, manage reservations via phone or online, and provide concierge services.
- Food & Beverage: Assist with restaurant, bar, or banquet operations, including food service, setup, and clearing.
- Housekeeping & Operations: Learn room maintenance standards, inspect rooms for cleanliness, and support laundry or guest services logistics.
- Administrative/Events: Assist with special events, sales, marketing campaigns, data entry, and social media management.
- Shadowing: Observe and assist experienced staff in various departments to understand overall hotel operations
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Customer Service: Strong desire to meet guest needs and enhance their stay.
- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle guest complaints and issues with empathy and professionalism.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a hospitality, tourism, or business program.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Lift, pull, push, bend, and move items to support the hotel and outlets
