Safety/Human Performance: Actively promote strong safety behaviors, utilizing key tools such as Close Call /Good Catch in addition to proactive field visits to review standards and behaviors. Influence suppliers and team members to proactively identify any safety concerns and mitigation efforts.
Warehouse, Inventory & Warehousing Initiative: Support the execution of multi-year WIL strategic roadmap to world class including optimization of the capital required for inventory, establishing clear service levels that incorporate an acceptable risk profile, liaising with customers to obtain feedback on performance, ensuring key processes, systems and interfaces are effective and as efficient as possible across the WIL cycle, establish clarity and expectations at the customer interfaces on the front and back end of the WIL process supporting the T&D business functions.
Operations: Assist in the editing and scheduling of Transmission jobs, communicate material concerns to customers and partner on solutions, provide key customer interface for Transmission customers, design basis, engineers, EAs and OCs, partner with other SCM groups on material solutions, provide support for cycle counting processes, local logistics management, process adherence and quality control and perform required Enterprise Risk Management Audits at Distribution Center.
Logistics Management: Support the optimization of inbound and outbound logistics, planning optimal economic order quantities, logistics scheduling, etc. supporting the Transmission business functions.
Customer Service: Efficiently and effectively resolve customer complaints. Provide guidance to the transmission operations team in the development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives to achieve year over year direct, indirect cost improvements. Deliver and document savings through inventory optimization, continuous improvement initiatives, material transfer opportunities, service level commitments, cost avoidance, etc.
Incident Response: Perform storm role duties as assigned as part of the Supply Chain IR Section.
Partnership: Accountable for establishing and maintaining healthy and positive stakeholder relationships. This activity includes establishing cross-functional and cross-sector teams with key stakeholders and helping to develop multi-year demand plans with integrated supply chain solutions. Maintain open communications between suppliers, stakeholders and within SC to ensure that prompt, thorough, accurate, pertinent and complete information is provided.
