Job Description:

TD Wealth – Practice Management | Advice Onboarding & Development

Who We Are

Practice Management within TD Wealth is focused on building the next generation of planning and advisory talent. Our Advice Onboarding and Development team partners with the business to deliver industry-leading learning experiences that elevate employee capability and drive meaningful business outcomes. We strive to be a strategic thinking partner to the business, designing and facilitating programs that are engaging, relevant, and aligned to enterprise priorities.

We believe learning is not an event—it is a journey. Our team is known for creating dynamic, learner-centered experiences, challenging the status quo through innovative facilitation approaches, and anchoring everything we do in business impact and client experience.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilitator to join our Practice Management Delivery team. This is a senior facilitator role that goes beyond delivery — you will facilitate complex learning experiences and play an active role in shaping how those programs evolve and deliver impact.  Success in this role requires both facilitation mastery and deep Wealth expertise.

What You’ll Do

1. Lead High-Impact Facilitation

  • Facilitate using a “guide by their side” approach, where learners actively problem-solve and apply concepts

  • Apply deep subject matter expertise in financial planning and private wealth management to ask the right questions, challenge thinking, and guide learners toward accurate, high-quality outcomes

  • Facilitate complex learning programs for diverse audiences, including senior leaders and planners/advisors

  • Create engaging, learner-driven environments that foster participation, reflection, and application

  • Lead strategic, discussion-based learning experiences, confidently validating, challenging, and expanding learner responses to ensure alignment with industry best practices

  • Bring content to life by connecting learning to business context and real-world application

2. Shape Learner Experience & Capability Building

  • Design and facilitate experiences that build capability, not just knowledge

  • Continuously enhance learner engagement, incorporating innovative and digital delivery methods

  • Create a safe, high-performance learning environment where learners can practice, receive feedback, and grow

  • Partner with leaders and SMEs to prepare them for effective delivery

3. Drive Program Excellence

  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of learning programs aligned to business strategy

  • Contribute to program design by providing facilitator insights, learner feedback, and recommendations

  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure programs are relevant, scalable, and impactful

  • Analyze program effectiveness and contribute to ongoing enhancements and innovation

4. Act as a Strategic Partner

  • Consult with business leaders to align learning solutions with business priorities

  • Facilitate strategy sessions, leadership discussions, and capability-building initiatives

  • Bring a strong point of view on adult learning, capability development, and program effectiveness

  • Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert within Practice Management

5. Build Capability Across the Organization

  • Mentor and coach facilitators, contributing to community of practice and capability building

  • Share best practices and continuously elevate the standard of facilitation across Wealth

  • Stay current on industry trends, facilitation techniques, and learning innovation

Experience & Expertise

  • 5+ years of experience in facilitation, learning & development, or program delivery

  • Proven ability to facilitate complex, large-scale, or senior-level sessions

  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and facilitation techniques

  • Experience supporting program design, evaluation, or continuous improvement

  • Strong subject matter expertise in financial planning and Private Wealth Management, with the ability to confidently assess, validate, and challenge learner thinking in real time

  • Ability to operate as a subject matter expert and strategic partner across teams

Education

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

  • L&D or facilitation certifications are considered an asset

What You’ll Gain

  • The opportunity to shape how advisors and leaders grow across TD Wealth

  • A role that combines impactful facilitation with strategic program influence

  • A collaborative team environment grounded in creativity, excellence, and continuous learning

Who This Role Is Perfect For

You are someone who:

  • Loves being in front of a room and creating meaningful learning experiences

  • Thinks beyond delivery and asks, “What business outcome does this drive?”

  • Balances craft (facilitation) with strategy (program impact)

  • Brings energy, curiosity, and a desire to continuously evolve how learning happens

  • Is comfortable leaning into ambiguity in the room, asking probing questions, and constructively challenging participants to deepen their thinking
