Job Description
Position Summary
The Litho & Corrugated Packaging Sales Executive is responsible for driving profitable sales growth through new business development, strategic account management, and consultative, solution-based selling.
This role will focus on identifying and developing new opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and delivering customized packaging solutions that align with each customer’s brand, operational needs, speed-to-market expectations, and growth goals.
The ideal candidate brings strong packaging sales experience, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to sell value not just price. This individual will be expected to leverage Golden West Packaging Group’s full platform of capabilities to develop meaningful customer partnerships and deliver profitable, sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities across the assigned Northern or Southern California territory
- Build and manage strategic customer relationships with brand owners, procurement teams, buyers, operations leaders, and key decision makers
- Sell litho-focused packaging solutions, including folding cartons, single-face lamination, corrugated packaging, retail displays, and high-impact branded packaging
- Lead consultative sales conversations focused on customer needs, brand impact, quality, speed to market, innovation, and total value
- Partner cross-functionally with design, estimating, operations, customer service, and leadership teams to develop creative and profitable packaging solutions
- Conduct professional sales presentations, product reviews, and solution-based proposals that showcase Golden West’s full capabilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on revenue growth, margin improvement, and long-term customer development
- Maintain a strong pipeline with clear next steps, close dates, decision makers, and growth opportunities
- Monitor customer trends, competitive activity, market conditions, and packaging innovations to identify new opportunities
- Ensure business opportunities align with contribution margin expectations and support long-term profitability
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by proactively identifying challenges and bringing forward solutions
- Represent Golden West Packaging Group with professionalism, urgency, accountability, and a customer-obsessed mindset
Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Proven success in consultative, solution-based sales with a strong track record of revenue growth
- Strong understanding of packaging, printing, litho-focused packaging, corrugated, folding carton, or high-graphics solutions
- Ability to build trusted customer relationships and develop strategic accounts
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow-through skills
- Strong business acumen with the ability to sell value and understand profitability
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering long-term value
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience preferred
- Packaging, printing, manufacturing, or solution-based sales experience strongly preferred
- Experience selling folding cartons, single-face lamination, corrugated, retail displays, or high-graphics packaging highly desired
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred, but proven packaging sales success is most important

California Pay Transparency Disclaimer: This is an Exempt position. The pay range for this position is $125,000.00 to $225,000.00. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, education, experience, internal equity and alignment with market data.
