Job Description

*Open to opportunities across MyMichigan service areas, including, but not limited to Sault, Alpena, West Branch, Gladwin, Midland, Mt. Pleasant, Alma, Clare, Saginaw, Tawas, Standish, and surrounding outpatient clinics.*
NOTE: You must interview/be offered a MyMichigan position before applying to Davenport.
**Once transferring into your MA role, there will be a 2 year work commitment.
Responsibilities
Program Outcomes:
- Provide responsible communication in a healthcare setting
- Comply with HIPAA/HITECH, OSHA, CMS and other healthcare regulations and laws
- Comprehend the use of Diagnosis and Procedure codes and employ Electronic Health Records
- Gain an understanding of laboratory and specimen collection, cardiopulmonary testing, pharmacology and medication administration
- Record vital signs, take medical histories and prepare patients and rooms for examinations
Certifications and Licensures
Program Length: 15-weeks
Training Format: The CCMA training is offered in an online/on-demand format, accessible 24/7.
Required Education
Program Cost: $2,495 (covered by MyMichigan Health as part of 2 year work commitment)

- All books are included.
- CCMA Exam voucher included.
Other Information
MA Exam: Initial: CCMA Exam voucher included. (Once the program is complete, the employee will have 30 days to take the CCMA exam.)
Retake: Student Responsibility.
2025 Proposed Dates: September 8th - December 19th (Must apply by Friday, July 24th at 5pm to be considered for this cohort).
