Restorative Aide/CNA

RESTORATIVE AIDE/CNA  

Job Responsibilities: 

Provides residents with routine restorative nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment, care plan and as directed by supervisors. 

• Ensures resident’s needs are met while maintaining the highest degree of dignity.  
• Documents care on Rehabilitation/Restorative flow sheet. 
• Notifies restorative nurse coordinator or appropriate therapy department of any problems, 
• referrals or reassessments needed. 
• Reports significant change in resident’s condition or motivational level to the charge nurse. 

Requirements:  

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing in Texas 

Knowledge / Experience: 

• Completion of a restorative nurse aide training program preferred 
• 6 months of experience in long-term care as a restorative aide preferred 

Licensure / Certifications: 

• CNA License
