We are seeking a hands-on, strategic Vice President, Finance to lead our finance and accounting organization for our multi-state healthcare services organization. This role partners closely with executive leadership to drive financial strategy, operational performance, and long-term growth. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned finance executive who thrives in operational environments and partnering cross-functionally to execute business plans and achieve targeted results. This role is positioned for advancement with increasing strategic and organizational responsibilities.
Essential Duties
- Provide strategic financial leadership and partner closely with the executive team to develop an execute long-term business and financial plans and performance optimization.
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, tax, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Lead financial planning and analysis across multiple states, including performance tracking by service line, location, and customer.
- Lead capital raising initiatives, including debt or other financing strategies to support growth and expansion.
- Deliver hands-on operational finance expertise by driving efficiency, cost optimization, and profitability across the business.
- Manage banking relationships, treasury functions, and financial risk management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, oversee audits, and maintain strong internal controls.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to the executive team and stakeholders.
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team with a focus on efficient support of workload and use of automation tools and A.I. where appropriate.
- Develop financial models to support growth, expansion and support M&A evaluation, due diligence, and integration activities.
- Provide executive-level reporting and financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Previous experience serving as a Finance Director, Vice President of Finance, or CFO with responsibility for leading financial operations in organizations ranging from $20 million to $200 million+ in annual revenue. Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Advanced technical proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
- A strategic thinker who has shaped business strategy, built financial plans, and driven measurable growth.
- Demonstrated success in raising capital via debt, equity or other financing vehicles, and financial strategy development.
- Strong executive presence with ability to influence and communicate across all levels.
