Utilization Review Director

Rock Springs Hospital is seeking a Director of Utilization Review to lead daily UR operations and ensure timely, accurate pre-certifications, re-certifications, peer-to-peers, and appeals. This role partners closely with physicians, nursing, and business office teams to optimize reimbursement and patient care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee UR staff performance, ensure payer communication, track denials, support treatment team processes, and provide ongoing education on documentation and medical necessity.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or clinical license preferred; psychiatric UR experience strongly preferred. Handle with Care/CPR within 30 days.
