What this job involves:
As a Facilities Coordinator at JLL, you'll be at the heart of delivering seamless integrated facilities services that directly enhance workplace experience and operational excellence. This role combines hands-on technical support with strategic vendor coordination, ensuring that every aspect of facility maintenance runs smoothly and meets the highest client standards. You'll serve as the vital link between service providers, internal teams, and stakeholders, managing everything from routine maintenance troubleshooting to compliance documentation and service quality oversight. At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way—for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees—and in this role, you'll contribute directly to creating work environments where people can thrive. Your day-to-day will blend practical problem-solving with relationship management, requiring you to perform basic electrical, HVAC, and plumbing interventions while simultaneously orchestrating vendor activities and maintaining meticulous operational records. This position is ideal for someone who values both technical competence and collaborative teamwork, as you'll be conducting facility walkthroughs, facilitating coordination meetings, and supporting workplace health and safety initiatives that keep operations running efficiently and safely.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of integrated facilities services across office and laboratory environments, ensuring timely execution and adherence to client service standards
Perform first-line troubleshooting and basic repairs for common electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical issues, including lighting checks, thermostat adjustments, door hardware fixes, and minor plumbing interventions
Serve as the primary point of contact for approved third-party service providers, managing both soft services and technical maintenance tasks while ensuring quality standards are consistently met
Organize and facilitate regular coordination meetings with vendors, FM teams, and client representatives to review service performance, address operational needs, and drive continuous improvement
Conduct routine facility walkthroughs to monitor service delivery quality, identify improvement opportunities, and escalate complex maintenance or safety concerns to management for resolution
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service requests, vendor reports, work orders, operational logs, and client feedback within the facility management system
Support workplace health and safety initiatives while ensuring common areas, meeting spaces, shared facilities, and lab utility spaces remain well-maintained, clean, and aligned with client workplace experience expectations
Required qualifications:
Diploma or technical certificate in electrical, mechanical, facilities management, or a related technical field
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in office or light industrial facility operations with demonstrated ability to perform routine maintenance tasks
Basic understanding of chemical storage safety protocols and general laboratory environment requirements
Ability to read and interpret simple electrical and HVAC schematics, perform voltage checks, and make thermostat adjustments safely and effectively
Strong communication skills in English and local language with the ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders
Proficiency in using mobile reporting tools or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order tracking and updates
Willingness to work on-site with flexible hours as required by operational needs and emergency situations
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working in a client-facing integrated facilities management environment with exposure to both technical and soft services coordination
Familiarity with workplace experience principles and how facility operations impact employee satisfaction and productivity
Previous experience managing vendor relationships and conducting service quality assessments
Knowledge of occupancy management, space planning coordination, or minor workplace reconfiguration projects
Certification in workplace health and safety, first aid, or relevant technical trade qualifications
Demonstrated track record of proactive problem-solving and delivering reliable operational support in dynamic facility environments
Customer-service oriented mindset with a hands-on, collaborative approach that aligns with our culture of supporting each other's wellbeing and championing excellence
