Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Lakeport Post Acute | Full-Time & Part-Time
$65–$70/hour

At Lakeport Post Acute, we believe exceptional rehabilitation changes lives. We're seeking compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our therapy team in Full-Time and Part-Time capacities.
Whether helping a resident safely return to eating, improving communication skills after a stroke, or supporting cognitive recovery, you'll play a vital role in restoring independence and enhancing quality of life.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy teams, residents, and families
- Conduct dysphagia assessments and implement appropriate interventions
- Educate residents, caregivers, and staff regarding treatment strategies and recommendations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and reimbursement requirements
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning activities
Qualifications
Required:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or eligibility to obtain
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Experience in Skilled Nursing, Post-Acute, Rehabilitation, or Long-Term Care settings
- Knowledge of dysphagia management and modified diets
- Experience with cognitive, neurological, and medically complex patient populations
