Streetcar Operator OKC Salary $23.57 hourly A Streetcar Operator is responsible for operating a streetcar on a 4.6-mile route safely and efficiently within city limits, ensuring passengers' comfort, safety, and adherence to operational schedules. The route will include 22 stops linking major employers, businesses, attractions and residences in the downtown area. The operator must possess operating skills, knowledge of traffic laws, and demonstrate professionalism while interacting with passengers. Operators provide operation of the battery/overhead wire powered streetcar in mixed use traffic typically in the Downtown area. This position plays a critical role in providing public transportation services and contributing to the community's mobility.
