Medical Billing Manager - Hybrid/Wixom

At J&B Medical, our work goes beyond billing—we help deliver essential medical supplies that improve patients’ lives every day. We’re looking for a results-driven Medical Billing Manager to lead a large, high-performing team and drive excellence across our DME billing operations.

What You’ll Do

· Lead and develop a team of 90+ billing professionals, including supervisors and team leads 

· Oversee the full DME billing cycle: claims submission, payment posting, and AR follow-up 

· Monitor and improve key performance metrics (AR days, denial rates, collections) 

· Identify issues and implement solutions to reduce denials and increase reimbursement 

· Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer guidelines 

· Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate documentation and clean claims 

· Drive a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement 

· Report on performance and provide insights to senior leadership 

What We’re Looking For

· 8+ years of medical billing experience, with leadership responsibility 

· Degree related experience

· Strong DME billing experience (required) 

· Proven success managing large teams (50+ employees) 

· Deep knowledge of revenue cycle management and payer requirements 

· Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills 

· Ability to lead in a high-volume, fast-paced environment 

Preferred Qualifications

· CPC or CPB certification

· Experience in high-volume or multi-state billing environments 

· Demonstrated success reducing denials and improving collections 

Compensation

$90,000 – $110,000 annually
