Understand the current Hadoop and Landscape and design and implement end-end solution to load Aster/Teradata tables and views. Knowledge on Aster Architecture and SQL Mapreduce. Teradata Logical and Physical Modeling. Performance Tuning of Teradata and Aster SQLs. Query Grid Knowledge. Ability to translate functional concepts into technical designs. Strong analytical and problem solving skills . Teradata Application DBA experience a plus. Unix Shell scripting.
