Event Set-Up Attendant (Banquets / Events) – Part-Time

Join Lake Lawn Resort as a Set-Up Attendant and help bring events to life. In this hands-on role, you’ll set up and break down meeting rooms, banquet spaces, and special events—ensuring everything is ready, organized, and guest-ready.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Part-Time 
• Shift: Flexible (Morning availability required, weekends as needed) 
• Department: Banquets / Events 

What You’ll Do

• Set up and break down meeting rooms, banquet spaces, and event areas 
• Arrange tables, chairs, risers, and equipment according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) 
• Skirt tables and prepare rooms to established standards 
• Reset rooms between events and ensure readiness for upcoming functions 
• Move equipment, furniture, portable dividers, and event materials as needed 
• Maintain cleanliness of banquet rooms, storage areas, and public spaces 
• Stock supplies and ensure rooms are fully prepared for events 
• Assist banquet staff during events when needed 
• Report maintenance or equipment issues to leadership 
• Occasionally operate company vehicles or golf carts 

 What We’re Looking For

• Previous event setup, banquet, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required 
• Valid driver’s license preferred 
• Ability to work early mornings and flexible schedules 
• Strong work ethic and ability to stay active throughout the shift 
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude 
• Ability to follow directions and work efficiently under time constraints 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods 
• Frequent lifting, pushing, and moving equipment 
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally 

Work Environment

• Indoor and outdoor event spaces 
• Exposure to varying temperatures and conditions 
• Fast-paced, high-volume event environment 
• Physically active role
