Job Description
Job Title: Cabinet Maker (Production).
Reports to: Wood Department Manager.
Position Status: Full Time.
Shift: Days 6am - 2:30pm
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Working knowledge of woodworking tools & machinery
- Working knowledge of cabinetry & other various wood structures/products
- Experience working with laminates.
- Experience in manufacturing and assembly
- Must be able to take accurate measurements (English System – In)
- Must be able to read and interpret shop drawings
- Highly oriented to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Flexible approach to working time to meet deadlines/peak workloads
- Must be a team player
General Competencies:
Minimum requirements
- 5+ years minimum experience required
- Abilities required
- Physically able to lift materials (50lbs or more)
- Bi-lingual (Spanish – English) a PLUS but not required
- Other duties, as assigned.
On-the-job time spent in the following physical activities will be:
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
Visual acuity to inspect products and machinery.
