Role Summary
The Program Manager in ConcertAI's Imaging Solutions Clinical Imaging Informatics organization is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional programs that support the development and delivery of innovative clinical imaging software solutions. This role drives planning, execution, alignment, and governance across product marketing, GTM, product development, quality, regulatory, clinical, service, and operational teams to ensure business objectives are achieved efficiently and in compliance with applicable standards.
This leader will partner closely with software engineering, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, product management, clinical stakeholders, and IT/business operations to deliver high-impact initiatives that meet customer, clinical, and regulatory needs. The ideal candidate brings strong program leadership, operational discipline, and experience working in global, matrixed, and regulated healthcare software environments.
Responsibilities
Program Leadership
- Lead end-to-end NPI execution of complex programs across the Clinical Imaging Informatics portfolio.
- Build and maintain integrated program plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, resource needs, and risk mitigation plans.
- Drive alignment across cross-functional teams to ensure program goals, deliverables, and timelines are clearly defined and achieved.
- Establish and manage strong program governance, including status reviews, action tracking, escalation management, and executive communications.
Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner closely with software engineering, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, marketing, sales. product management, service, clinical stakeholders, and business operations to execute critical initiatives.
- Manage interdependencies across teams and proactively address risks, blockers, and competing priorities.
- Support planning, prioritization, and decision-making to balance business value, technical feasibility, quality, and compliance.
- Ensure effective execution against agreed objectives, schedules, and success metrics.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a central point of coordination for assigned programs across global and regional teams.
- Facilitate regular program reviews and working sessions with key stakeholders.
- Communicate program status, risks, decisions, and mitigation plans clearly to leadership and partner teams.
- Build trusted relationships across functions and foster collaboration in a matrixed environment.
Quality and Regulatory Coordination
- Ensure program execution aligns with applicable regulatory requirements[SB7] [TU8] , schedule commitments, quality standards, and internal development processes.
- Partner with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure appropriate documentation, validation, verification, and design control activities are planned and completed.
- Support audit readiness and participate in internal and external audits, as required.
- Promote disciplined execution in accordance with TeraRecon’s Quality Management System.
Operational Excellence
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve program delivery, cross-functional coordination ,tool optimization, CI/CD, and team effectiveness.
- Establish best practices, metrics, and reporting mechanisms to improve visibility, predictability, and accountability.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning, governance, dependency management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Contribute to scaling program management capabilities across a growing product portfolio.
Resource and Portfolio Support
- Partner with functional leaders to align resources with business priorities and program needs.
- Track progress against plans, budgets, and key milestones.
- Provide visibility into resource capacity, staffing needs, hiring progress, and portfolio risks.
- Surface resource constraints, schedule risks, and portfolio impacts in a timely and actionable manner.
- Support portfolio planning and prioritization activities as needed.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with additional relevant work experience.
- 8–12+ years of experience in program management, project management, or related leadership roles within healthcare IT, medical imaging, clinical software, or regulated software development environments.
- Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional software programs from planning through execution.
- Strong experience working in global, matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle practices and Agile delivery models.
- Strong project and program management skills; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Good understanding of clinical imaging systems and healthcare interoperability standards such as DICOM and HL7.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across technical, clinical, and business teams.
- Proficiency with program and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
- Experience working in clinical software development and global regulatory environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical imaging, radiology workflow, or clinical imaging informatics.
- Familiarity with quality and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 13485, design controls, and medical device software practices.
- Experience supporting products subject to MDSAP, CE Marking, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Experience participating in or supporting internal and external audits.
Compliance Expectations
- Understand and follow the requirements of EN ISO 13485 / ISO 13485, the TeraRecon Quality Management System, process flows, and work instructions.
- Comply with applicable regulatory and quality requirements.
- Participate in internal and external audits, as required.
