VDOT is recruiting an adept Travel Demand Modeling Engineer for our growing Travel Demand Modeling Section.
As a part of the Transportation and Mobility Planning Division, the Modeling Section is responsible for the development, maintenance and updates of the statewide travel demand model and regional travel demand models (11) with all applications for project studies.
If you are experienced with travel demand modeling software such as CUBE or Trans CAD to develop and review travel demand models, this may be an opportunity for you. Consider a career with VDOT and employ StreetLight or similar platforms to test the models once developed.
