Rate Analyst

Under general direction, is responsible for administrative and professional work involving the regulatory oversight of municipality owned and franchise utilities. Conducts research analysis and prepares reports on matters pertaining to contract compliance, public utility rates, and other utility issues for the Public Utilities Supervisor. Assists in the negotiation of agreements and resolution of utility matters. Determines proper and reasonable service costs and rates; reviews electric, gas, water, wastewater and stormwater municipal utilities for conformity to rate and service regulations.
