Paraprofessional for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing

Roles and Responsibilities As a Paraprofessional you will: Prepare teaching materials and tutor individual students under the supervision of the instructor Communicate the progress of the students to the instructor Perform such duties as may relate to the motivation and achievement of students in academic and skills areas Assist with behavior interventions under the direction of the instructor Assist with routine daily activities, i.e. bus duty, recess, lunch, bathroom (may include diapering), etc. Provides support in a classroom environment by working directly with teachers and students. Maintains accurate records and logs. Designs and/or prepares training/instructional materials, teaching aids and devices.
