Job Description
This position is responsible for coordinating and managing all warehouse activities daily including the receiving, warehousing, shipping and delivery of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. This position is authorized to perform the steps necessary to ensure the responsibilities are met.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, and the picking and staging of outbound shipments.
- Verify required inbound / outbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are properly accounted for.
- Supervise warehouse employees at the warehouse location.
- Establishing work schedules and ensure that the schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly.
- Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area while assisting in maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse.
- Coordinate and/or check in product returns and update inventory balances.
- Inspect physical condition of warehouse and equipment to prepare work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement of equipment.
- Consult with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with production, sales, records control and purchasing activities.
- Direct salvage of damaged material.
- Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents. Gather and maintain all data records relative to shipping activities.
- Coordinate documentation pertaining to worker accidents.
- Assist in set-up and preparation of warehouse for special events.
- Perform other related duties as may be required by the Processing Manager or Processing Lead.
Job Requirements
Education and training:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck’s automobile insurance policy.
Technical knowledge:
- Basic computer and current software skills.
- Ability to successfully complete Beck’s Fork Lift training required.
Experience:
- Two (2) years supervisory experience.
Physical Demands:
- May be required to lift up to 70 pounds unassisted.
Travel and Hours of Work:
- Overnight travel may be required based on project needs at Beck’s regional locations and may vary in duration of time.
