Family Services Specialist II – Adult Services/Adult Protective Services

The Local Department of Social Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Services Specialist II to provide professional case management services in the areas of Adult Services and Adult Protective Services. This position serves vulnerable adults, including older adults and adults with disabilities, by assessing safety, identifying needs, coordinating services, and supporting individuals in maintaining independence and well-being.

Key responsibilities include responding to reports of abuse, neglect, or exploitation; conducting home visits and investigations; completing assessments and service plans; coordinating with medical providers, law enforcement, community agencies, and family supports; documenting case activity; and ensuring compliance with state and local policies.
