Position Description
Performs a variety of assigned tasks to support an efficient and accurate flow of materials on and off the finishing conveyor line.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepares parts to be powder coated by masking, sanding or performing any preparation work that is is deemed necessary.
- Hangs and removes materials on and off conveyor line while adhering to company safety procedures, operate hoists/lifts as necessary to move parts.
- Inspects material on and off conveyor line for obvious defects and report scrap.
- Counts and records all parts that are hung prior to and after being put on the conveyor line.
- Assists in cleaning powder booth and performing routine maintenance as directed. Performs stock handling duties as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Skills Requirements
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
High School diploma
General Education Degree
Experience Requirements
- Entry level position
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Moderate physical demand; often lifting/moving average weight (25 to 50 lbs/11-27 kgs), and occasionally lifting heavy weight materials (up to 70 lbs)
Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
