Position Summary:
Vallen's Lead Solutions Specialist will be a contributor that supports the sales strategy for the Metalworking cutting tools product category. They work with existing, new, and prospective clients to effectively sell the features and benefits of cutting tools and cost savings opportunities. They are subject matter experts and are sought out by other sales and/or marketing teams to enhance Vallen's business opportunities and assist in achieving profitable sales objectives within the vertical product category. Position requires the ability to effectively engage and work collaboratively with manufacturing representatives. Vallen product marketing/direct Marketing, Vallen sales management, Vallen operations teams, Vallen field sales, Vallen inside sales to promote respective lines/goods & services that are offered by those organizations. Provide effective & profitable solutions with the intention of promoting and increasing the respective site's goals and objectives.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Grow metalworking cutting tool sales within existing Vallen customers
- Deliver new customers to Vallen through metalworking cutting tool sales
- Support existing metalworking cutting tool applications at Vallen customers
- Align growth with national team at targeted key accounts for Vallen
- Training of Vallen sales associates in assigned markets on metalworking cutting tools
- Communication with Vallen management on territory projects and goals to accelerate growth
- Partnership with metalworking cutting tool manufacturers to grow sales
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders at Vallen customers to expand cutting tool sales
- Presentation of process improvements in metalworking cutting tools to Vallen customers
- Identification of cost savings opportunities for Vallen customers in metalworking cutting tools
- Implementation of cost savings and process improvements at Vallen customers
- Drive cost savings projects across the Enterprise Account to deliver on key cost savings initiatives.
