Revenue Cycle Specialist

We are currently seeking an Revenue Cycle Specialist to maximize cash flow while maintaining and improving internal and external efficiencies and compliance.

This position will be at-will, meaning either the employer or the employee may terminate the employment at any time, with or without cause or prior notice.

Pay range: $19-$22/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of claims submitted to insurance and bills sent to patients.
• Obtain appropriate and timely reimbursement through denials management, claim and account follow up.
• Identify trends and factors adversely affecting collections.
• Serve as a point of contact and subject matter expert on revenue cycle functions, workflows and related computer systems for internal and external partners.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.

Job Qualifications

• Experience with EMR/EHR
• Experience with insurance companies
• Knowledge of CPT/CDT, and other billing codes
• Experience with Medicaids, a plus
• Experience with Orthodontic, Vision or Dental revenue cycle or practice operations, a plus
