Job Responsibilities
Maintain the flower freshness in all displays and arrangements.
Ensure outlet flower arrangements and deliveries are made timely.
Receive floral deliveries and ensuring the qualities of flowers meet the required standards.
Ensure support new floral design and ideas for all areas preparations to Supervisor, Assistant Manager and Manager.
Prepare in advance for flower arrangements accordingly, taking into consideration the best minimum cost without sacrificing standard.
Support and follow through with implementation of new flower arrangements.
Ensure the flower workshop is clean and flowers on sale are always fresh and well presented.
Maintains good rapport with all departments and ensures that leadership is kept fully aware of all feedback from either guests or other departments.
Be proactive in safety and accident prevention. Ensure that all Team Members are adequately trained in the use of all floral tools, lifting techniques and other potentially hazardous parts of their daily work.
Monitors the general inventory of all materials and equipment.
Assist with daily ordering of supplies and financial report.
Assign duties to Guest Service Agents and Senior Guest Service Agents when required.
Perform any ad-hoc duties that may be assigned
Carry out any assignment given by his/her Supervisor, Assistant Manager and Manager.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
Secondary education with at least 3 years of experience.
Experience
Floral related experience in hotel/resort conference setting preferred.
3+ years of experience in international luxury hotel brands with relevant capacity and environment
Other Prerequisites
Willing to perform shift duties and work on weekends and public holidays.
Able to perform standing task for long hours
