Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Technical UI/UX Designer in Canada.
This role focuses on the hands-on adaptation and implementation of UI systems for a large, established simulation game being brought to new platforms and display environments. You will work at the intersection of design and engineering, directly modifying and rebuilding UI screens, flows, and interactions to ensure a seamless player experience across varying resolutions, input methods, and platform constraints. The position requires strong technical fluency and a practical mindset, with an emphasis on solving real-world usability challenges rather than purely conceptual design work. You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, artists, and production teams to ensure UI systems remain performant, consistent, and intuitive. A key part of the role involves diagnosing platform-specific UX friction and translating it into actionable, implementable improvements. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly inside UI systems and shaping how complex interfaces behave in production environments.
