A little about this position:
- The Rooms Division Manager oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of three properties, which encompasses the Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and HOA Property Management.
- Assuming the responsibilities of the General Manager when the GM is unavailable.
- This role holds accountability for achieving financial targets, ensuring employee satisfaction and performance, and maintaining high guest service standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel/resort management, with at least three (3) years in a leadership role within the rooms division.
- Strong knowledge of front office, housekeeping, and reservations operations.
- California Association of Community Managers (CACM) Certifications, preferred.
- Proficient Spanish speaking is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in the hospitality industry and direct guest service organizations.
- Strong working knowledge of business software with emphasis on MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visual One.
- Professional demeanor, attitude, and appearance.
- Strong work ethic.
- Flexible with work schedules, working on weekends and holidays.
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests, employees, and management.
- Ability to perform under pressure and with deadlines.
- Ability to solve problems using good judgment and doing what is best for the customer, while adhering to hotel policy.
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills.
Pay: $75,601.32 - $80,213.49 per year
