About the role:  

We are seeking an experienced Business Development professional at the Manager level to drive the commercial growth of 1Lattice's data products and solution offerings. The role will focus on building and scaling a robust sales pipeline, acquiring new clients, and expanding existing relationships across enterprise and mid-market accounts. 

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in selling data, analytics, SaaS, research, or technology-led products and solutions, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth in a high-performance environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Drive end-to-end business development initiatives, including new account acquisition (hunting) and growth of existing accounts (farming) for 1Lattice's data products and solutions. 

  • Identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers including CXOs, Business Heads, Strategy Leaders, Digital Leaders, and Functional Heads across target organizations. 

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, industry events, and market mapping. 

  • Lead client discussions to understand business challenges and position relevant data and analytics-led solutions. 

  • Develop and execute account plans to maximize revenue opportunities across existing and prospective clients. 

  • Own the complete sales lifecycle, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, proposal development, commercial negotiations, and deal closure. 

  • Work closely with product, leadership, and delivery teams to align client requirements with solution capabilities and ensure seamless execution. 

  • Prepare compelling proposals, commercial constructs, and business cases tailored to client requirements. 

  • Track market trends, competitive intelligence, customer needs, and emerging opportunities within the data and analytics ecosystem. 

  • Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, and networking events to strengthen market presence and generate business opportunities. 

  • Ensure achievement of revenue, pipeline creation, client acquisition, and account growth targets. 

Desired background: 

  • 6-8 years of experience in business development, sales, and account management, with significant exposure to selling data, analytics, SaaS, technology, research, or information products/solutions. 

  • Demonstrated experience in both hunting and farming roles with a strong track record of achieving revenue targets. 

  • Prior experience in selling subscription-based products, data platforms, analytics solutions, or enterprise technology offerings is strongly preferred. 

  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales processes and consultative selling methodologies. 

  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and C-level executives. 

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills. 

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in proposal development and contract negotiations. 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and high-growth environment. 

  • MBA from a reputed institute preferred.
