Description
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting clinicians by reducing their administrative workload, allowing them to focus on direct patient care.
- Managing workflow queues, keeping on top of backlogs, and helping maintain safe turnaround times.
- Reviewing and triaging incoming clinical documents
- Processing and managing lab results and referrals.
- Scanning, coding, and filing patient information into EMIS.
- Summarising new patient records and maintaining accurate medical summaries.
- Liaising with clinicians to ensure timely follow-up on abnormal results.
- Routing information to the right clinician (GP, pharmacist, nurse, etc.) based on urgency, risk, and clinical protocols.
- Coding and summarising key clinical information into EMIS to keep patient records accurate and up to date.
- Supporting audits, reporting, and general administrative tasks.
- Constantly working towards personal and team KPIs relating to workload
