Senior Survey Technician

We are currently seeking to add a Senior Survey Technician to join our survey team in Boise, ID.  We enjoy a wide variety of project locations and exposure to all sides of land surveying.  

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience working on a Survey Field Crew. The candidate must work well with staff and clients, have good organizational skills, and exhibit excellent communication and problem-solving skills in dynamic work environments. Above all, a love of the outdoors and the ability to work outside in all seasons is highly encouraged.   

Your Responsibilities as a Senior Survey Technician:

• Assist the Survey Crew Chief with calculations for boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA surveys.  
• Assist with adjustment and calibration of Survey equipment.  
• Maintain the inventory of consumable supplies in the work truck.  
• Keep the work truck clean and organized.  
• Travel within the State of Idaho as well as occasional travel to other adjoining States is common, but not often. 

What we're looking for:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.  
• 2+ years of experience as a Survey Field Technician  
• Ability to take accurate and legible field notes.   
• Familiarity with and/or ability to learn and operate within the Trimble ecosystem (Trimble data collectors with Trimble Access software, Trimble S series robotic total stations and Trimble R series RTK GNSS receivers).   
• Valid driver's license.
