Summary
Join our Technology Consulting practice to help organisations transform payroll through innovative technology. You will work with diverse clients to design and implement efficient, scalable payroll solutions, contributing to end-to-end projects and delivering impactful outcomes.
What should the Payroll Technology Implementation (Senior Associate) expect from us?
As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end payroll technology implementations. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to configure systems, manage integrations, and ensure smooth delivery from requirements gathering through to go-live.
You will also contribute to maintaining high delivery standards by reviewing outputs, supporting junior team members, and driving continuous improvement across implementation processes. This role offers exposure to international projects and the opportunity to collaborate with PwC network firms, enabling you to broaden your technical expertise and strengthen your consulting capabilities.
Responsibilities
If you’re successful, you’ll undertake engagements locally and globally which could include a combination of but not limited to:
Configure, integrate, and deliver payroll technology implementations end-to-end on PwC's proprietary platform
Ensure quality assurance by reviewing team deliverables, establishing clear standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Coach and develop a team of associates, providing technical guidance and escalation support
Lead client and member firm interactions independently, managing relationships, queries, and project communications
Champion innovation by automating processes, building reusable tools, and adopting emerging best practices.
Experience and Qualifications
Degree in an IT-related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent)
At least 4 years' experience in IT project implementation, ideally within payroll technology or HRIS environments
Proven track record of delivering technology implementation projects end-to-end
Experience working within a professional services or consulting environment is advantageous
