Job Description
To assemble products utilizing best manufacturing practices, job design principles, and assembly techniques to meet customer requirements in the most cost-effective manner
Your Responsibilities:
- Read and understand documentation required for product assembly, including prints, diagrams, order sheets, and schematics.
- Contribute positively to the growth and overall development of the work area.
- Understand and follow established assembly procedures, and assist in developing new procedures or improving existing procedures.
- Set up, build, and assemble structures, units, doors, and all related components to complete the finished product.
- Assemble non-plug-in units, including transformers, breakers, bolted pressure switches, and other related components.
- Wire harnessed transformers and other designated electrical components.
- Assist in resolving order-related issues, including documenting identified problems.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining workplace procedures, work instructions, and other production-supporting documentation.
- Maintain 5S and EHS standards within the work area
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- An electrical degree or certificate or experience in a related field or equivalent experience. Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Electrician or equivalent education.
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Basic IT skills, preferably with experience of Microsoft Office.
