Sustainability is one of our core values, and it shapes everything we do. We're committed to protecting the environment and supporting our local communities through decarbonisation, skills and employment programmes, and community engagement initiatives.

At MAG, we recognise that creating a first-class journey for our customers starts by creating a first-class career journey for our colleagues. We are committed to building inclusive environments in which our people can thrive. You’ll also have access to some great benefits including:

  • Bonus scheme
  • 10% company contribution pension
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Free onsite parking
  • Subsidised public transport
  • Huge range of company discounts
  • 2 volunteering days per year
  • Free Virtual GP service, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Care Concierge service

What the role involves

At MAG, our airports never really stand still - and neither does the hiring that supports them. Airports are busy, complex environments and the range of roles you’ll recruit for reflects that - from frontline operational teams keeping passengers moving, to specialist and corporate functions behind the scenes. This role is about managing recruitment at pace, across a wide mix of roles, using a consultative and business partnering approach. You’ll work across several business areas at London Stansted Airport, many of which rely on high-volume hiring to keep things moving day to day.

You’ll own recruitment end-to-end. That includes planning with hiring managers, attracting candidates, running fair and consistent selection processes, and making sure people have a good experience from first contact through to day one.

You’ll also play a part in improving how we hire – making it simpler, more consistent and something we can be proud of.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing a high volume of vacancies across multiple business areas
  • Partnering with hiring managers to understand demand, particularly for volume and frontline roles
  • Planning for peak hiring periods and building pipelines so we’re ready when it matters
  • Running structured, fair and inclusive assessment and selection processes
  • Keeping candidates informed and engaged throughout - even when we’re busy
  • Managing offers and supporting onboarding to help people settle in well
  • Using data to track progress and identify where things can be improved
  • Supporting and developing a Talent Acquisition Coordinator
  • Working closely with TA Operations to keep processes consistent and efficient

What will make you successful in the role?

  • Experience managing high-volume recruitment, ideally in fast-paced or operational environments
  • Confidence handling multiple roles and priorities at the same time
  • Strong stakeholder skills - able to influence, challenge and support hiring managers
  • A practical approach to recruitment - focusing on what works rather than overcomplicating things
  • A good understanding of sourcing, assessment and inclusive hiring practices
  • The ability to stay organised and keep momentum, even when demand is high
