Provides oversight of all patient care services and personnel. Oversight must include the following: Making patient and personnel assignments, coordinating patient care, coordinating referrals, ensuring patient needs are continually assessed, ensuring development, implementation, and updates of the individualized plan of care.

Coordination of appropriate patient assignments. Coordination of lab results to all physicians. Review of required documentation facilitates interaction between field staff, office staff, the home care patients, and their providers.
