Job Description

Key responsibilities/What you do

The Regional Head, Sales Excellence & Steering (RSES) is the senior executive accountable for operationalizing the global Sales Excellence & Steering strategy across the region. This leader oversees a large multi-country organization, ensuring that global standards become consistent, effective, and sustainable regional operating practices. 

Strategic Execution & Operating Model Alignment

· Translate global Sales Excellence & Steering strategy into regional execution plans and governance routines.

· Implement a verticalized operating model across customer/industry segments.

· Ensure adherence to global process, governance, compliance, and performance standards.

· Serve as executive owner of commercial governance: pipeline/forecast reviews, deal boards, QBRs.

Sales Steering, Forecasting & Performance Management

· Own regional pipeline integrity and forecast accuracy; drive consistent methodology across countries.

· Embed standardized KPIs, dashboards, analytical frameworks, and performance routines.

· Identify trends, risks, and opportunities; advise regional and country leadership.

· Drive planning and target setting in partnership with Finance and Sales.-setting in partnership with Finance and Sales.

Salesforce Governance, Tooling & Data Quality

· Act as regional executive sponsor for Salesforce and related commercial tools.

· Enforce global CRM governance (stage discipline, opportunity management, approvals, data accuracy).

· Improve data quality to enable reporting, analytics, automation, and AI driven insights.-driven insights.

· Partner with the Global CRM team on enhancements and regional change management.

Implementation & Delivery Excellence

· Oversee the regional implementation/PMO function to ensure on time, high quality delivery of new business and partner integrations.-time, high-quality delivery of new business and partner integrations.

· Maintain rigorous delivery governance, readiness criteria, and risk escalation paths.

· Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Product, IT, Ops, Legal, Compliance, Finance.-functional alignment across Sales, Product, IT, Ops, Legal, Compliance, Finance.

· Institutionalize reusable assets, playbooks, and continuous improvement practices.

Sales Enablement & Support Leadership

· Lead the region-wide enablement/support network to ensure consistent operational execution across countries.

· Standardize tender support, pricing coordination, reporting, onboarding workflows, and CRM hygiene.

· Develop regional enablement curricula, certifications, and sales playbooks aligned with global standards.

· Improve frontline capacity by reducing administrative burden and increasing operational maturity.

People Leadership & Culture

· Lead and inspire a diverse, multi-market organization with varying maturity and complexity.

· Build capabilities in analytics, delivery management, CRM, governance, and enablement.

· Develop succession plans and talent mobility across the region.

· Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-market collaboration.-market collaboration.

Risk, Compliance & Control Frameworks

· Ensure adherence to regulatory, contractual, operational, and internal governance requirements.

· Leverage broad knowledge of insurance and assistance markets to guide decision making.-making.

· Maintain audit readiness and alignment with global risk/compliance standards.

 

Key requirements/What you bring 

· Bachelor’s required; MBA or Master’s preferred

· 15+ years in Sales Excellence/Steering, Sales/Revenue Operations, or Commercial Strategy

· 10+ years leading large, multi-country teams

· Deep experience operationalizing global strategies in multinational, matrixed organizations

· Strong background with Salesforce governance and tool adoption at scale

· Experience across B2B2C, direct, and broker sales models

· Insurance/assistance sector experience highly advantageous

· Up to ~30–40% travel required across the region
