Job Summary

Job Summary

  • Completion of all the residency program competency areas, educational goals and objectives as defined by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists
  • Active participant of Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee
  • Develop and complete a major performance improvement or research project under the direction of designated preceptor
  • Completion of all activities including required and elective rotations and assigned projects
  • Displays competency in managing weekend and evening shifts involving on-call, clinical and distributive responsibilities

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.

Licensure/Certification

  • Licensed (within 3 months of hire) and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.  Memberships: Annual memberships in the Oklahoma Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists are strongly encouraged. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is encouraged during orientation, but required within 3 months of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training/licensure is required within 4 months of hire.
