Lia Insurance Agency is seeking a motivated, licensed Insurance Agent to join our growing team. As part of the Lia Auto Group family of businesses, our agency receives hundreds of inbound opportunities each month through dealership referrals, website inquiries, and customer referrals-giving you a steady pipeline of prospects to work with.
This is a remote position, but candidates must reside within driving distance of Albany, NY for occasional team meetings and training events. If you're a driven sales professional who enjoys helping customers, closing business, and being rewarded for your performance, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Quote and write new Personal Lines insurance policies
- Follow up on warm leads generated through our dealerships, website, and referral network
- Cross-sell and identify additional coverage opportunities
- Build strong relationships with clients and carrier partners
- Document activity and manage opportunities within our CRM
- Collaborate with dealership staff to maximize referral opportunities
- Consistently achieve monthly sales goals
What We're Looking For
- Active New York Property & Casualty Insurance License
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Agency experience preferred but not required for exceptional candidates
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
