Now Hiring: Card Services Representative
Come join our team as a Card Services Representative where you will support the activities of the Card Services department. This includes ATM, credit, and debit card operations, card settlement and reconciliation, fraud management, ATM settlement and service management, and member service and adhere to Credit Union policies and procedures to ensure ethical and compliant business practices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBLITES:
- Performs daily card processing activities, which includes processing: new applications, account maintenance, credit limit changes, rate and program changes, transaction processing, and account research.
- Performs quality control review of card activities to ensure the appropriateness of maintenance, the accuracy of account data, obtainment of the required documentation, and follow-up to address issues.
- Performs daily settlement and reconciliation of ATM, debit, and credit card transaction activity and ATM terminals. Identifies exceptions and out-of-balance conditions and takes the necessary corrective action.
- Responds to internal help desk requests and provides friendly member service and prompt issue resolution. Monitors ATM service provider’s help desk to ensure timely resolution of service issues.
- Responds to member reports of unauthorized ATM, debit, and credit card transactions by working with third-party service providers to ensure provisional credits are processed timely and ensuring prompt and timely resolution of all member claims.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
This role begins onsite. After set period, employees may be eligible for a hybrid schedule once fully trained and after manager approval.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Experience: One to three years of similar or related experience.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Interpersonal Skills: Position requires a significant amount of personal contact with others inside and outside the Credit Union, thus requiring a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, diplomacy, and tact in communication. Builds relationships and fosters positive interactions with Credit Union team members, members, and vendors by demonstrating friendly, helpful, and efficient service. Good written and verbal communication skills are required, including communicating clearly and concisely. Patience, active listening, and sound judgment are required. Must have the ability to understand and communicate products, services, and regulations.
Other Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, business applications, and learning the core system and other related software are required. Must have the ability to apply cognitive reasoning to daily tasks, take ownership, and work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, skillful with time management, and efficient with multitasking. Position may require work to be performed both in-office and remotely during and outside of regular business hours.
