ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
- Create reports for internal teams.
- Develop custom reports using Excel and MS PowerBI, includes data gathering, processing, automation, documentation, accuracy, and resolving issues and questions.
- Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data.
- Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data.
- Structure large datasets to find usable information.
- Work with team of analysts and other associates to process information.
- Resolve store-specific labor reporting issues utilizing email,
- Teams or, phone communications.
- Provide information and recommendations for special requests pertaining to sales and labor.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualification Requirements
To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business or Analytics preferred but not required. Retail experience is preferred but not required. Understanding and advanced experience in Microsoft Excel is required.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, vendors and customers. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts, such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
