Business Title: Senior Tax Analyst—Asia Pacific
Reporting to the Director, Tax - Asia Pacific, the job holder will have opportunities to grow their career with regional tax exposure to 10+ countries in APAC. The job holder should be able to exchange ideas and assist on driving the progress in English and Mandarin effectively.
What You’ll Be Doing
US & Corporate Tax Reporting
Coordinate and review APAC regional tax provision packages (including US GAAP tax provisions, FIN 48, ASC 740 analysis, and Form 5471, etc.) to ensure alignment with corporate requirements.
Support US tax reporting deliverables, including tax expense forecasting, cash tax projections, and underlying financial data analysis.
Transfer Pricing & Global Compliance
Implement and monitor Arrow’s intercompany transfer pricing policies and cost allocation systems, adjusting for shifts in business flows and evolving market trends
Drive regional BEPS / Pillar 2 compliance and tracking local adoptions.
Tax Audits, Risk Mitigation & Process Improvement
Coordinate and support health checks, tax audits, and inquiries across the region, covering direct taxes, indirect taxes (VAT/GST), and transfer pricing.
Proactively identify tax risks and operational inefficiencies; design and implement process enhancements to strengthen tax controls.
Assist ad hoc tax projects, structural changes, and regional assignments.
What We Are Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
Experience: A minimum of 4 years of tax experience with regional APAC exposure. A blend of Big 4 public accounting and corporate in-house tax experience is ideal.
Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for an Assistant Manager position.
Technical Skills: Solid working knowledge of APAC corporate income tax regimes and transfer pricing concepts.
Knowledge of US GAAP tax accounting principles (ASC 740) and general ledger data analysis will be an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to break down complex tax technical concepts into clear, non-technical business language for management and internal stakeholders.
Languages: Strong command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) to effectively collaborate with regional offices and stakeholders.
