Work model: 2 days per week from office in Wroclaw

YOUR ROLE:

 

We are seeking a seasoned professional with deep expertise in vendor master data, data governance, and SAP MDG-s concepts to own and optimize end-to-end vendor master data processes across P2P. The role ensures data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across different ERPs, SAP MDGs, and downstream systems. The successful candidate will partner with Procurement, Accounts Payable, IT, MDGS/ERP teams, to drive standardization, data quality, controls, and sustainable governance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, design, and govern end-to-end vendor master data processes within P2P, including supplier data, vendor hierarchies, bank details, tax information, classifications, and related master data domains.
  • Lead vendor data governance initiatives and projects (data standards, data quality rules, data lineage, remediation, deduplication, harmonization) across SAP MDG-S and related systems.
  • Collaborate with AP, Procurement, IT, and ERP/MDG-S teams to establish robust data controls, validation rules, and data quality KPIs (completeness, accuracy, timeliness, consistency).
  • Drive standardization and migration efforts during system upgrades or mergers (data cleansing, mapping, enrichment, and migration strategies).
  • Own vendor master data health metrics, KPI’s, dashboards, and governance documentation including data dictionaries, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops to gather requirements, configure business rules, and validate vendor data models and rules.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma) within the vendor master data domain and assess impact on processes and systems.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for vendor master data within different projects.
  • Monitor industry best practices and ensure alignment with company’s standards, regulatory/compliance requirements, fraud and risk controls.


 
WHO YOU ARE:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in vendor master data management, data governance, or process optimization within P2P.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP), SAP MDG-S concepts, and data migration projects.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and govern data standards, data quality rules, and data governance frameworks for vendor data.
  • Track record of leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project-management skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management capabilities; able to influence at all levels.
  • Deep knowledge of vendor master data management, supplier data integrity, supplier onboarding, fraud mitigations and related controls.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP MDG-S/SAP MDG in-depth knowledge/experience.
  • Experience with supplier onboarding, supplier lifecycle, tax/withholding data, banking details, and supplier classifications.
  • Familiarity with data enrichment, data lineage documentation, and data migration tooling.
  • Experience with P2P processes from requisition to payment, including supplier master data health.
