Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Health & Social Care to join our curriculum team at Cadbury College on a fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support students preparing for careers within the health and care sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Health & Social Care lessons
- Develop engaging teaching materials and learning resources
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
- Monitor and track learner progress and achievement
- Contribute to curriculum planning and quality improvement
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students
- Maintain accurate academic and administrative records
- Participate in team meetings, CPD, and college events
- Use ILT and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Degree or relevant qualification in Health & Social Care or related subject
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Experience delivering high-quality teaching and learning
- Strong subject knowledge within the health and care sector
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire learners
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding
- Experience teaching Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications
- Industry experience within health or social care settings
- Experience working within Further Education

- DiT (Diploma in Teaching) – if for a vocational subject
