8+ years leading and managing teams of at least 5-10 people in a high-growth, cross-functional startup or scale-up environment
Deep technical expertise across APIs, data architecture, integrations, and automation
Strong project management skills, able to run multiple large-scale engagements in parallel without losing detail or momentum
Excellent communicator who can bridge business and technical stakeholders at every level
Hands-on leader: you don't manage from a distance, you resolve escalations, train your team, and participate in high-risk go-lives
Trajectory
As Head of Technical Deployments you will own the full lifecycle of how Planhat deploys for its most complex customers:
Manage, grow, and coach a global team of Technical Deployment Specialists
Design and evolve the end-to-end deployment lifecycle, from discovery and scoping to integration, configuration, and go-live
Build repeatable frameworks: playbooks, templates, and scalable processes to drive quality and speed
Partner cross-functionally with CS, Sales and Product to align customer deployment strategy with business goals
Act as a technical architect in complex deployments, integrating with customer data systems, building automations, and ensuring robust data flows
Lead process improvements to reduce deployment time, optimize resource utilization, and boost customer satisfaction
Track and report on deployment metrics: team capacity, utilization, customer outcomes, and deployment velocity

Compensation
The OTE (base + variable) salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 per year. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a generous PTO policy, and other benefits.
